About Us

A Family Workshop Devoted to the Craft of Fine Woodwork

Arc & Oak Millwork is a Surrey based studio where traditional craftsmanship meets modern design. Get to know the people, the philosophy and the process behind every piece we build.

We believe a well-made piece of millwork should feel effortless, quietly beautiful and built to outlast trends.

What began in a family garage has grown into a dedicated shop of makers who treat every cabinet, staircase and architectural detail as a piece worth signing. This is who we are and what we care about.

It Started With Wood, Steel and a Father's Workshop

Craftsmanship is in our roots. Our owner grew up surrounded by wood and steel, learning the art of fine woodworking from his father. By the age of five he was shaping his first projects with basic hand tools in the family garage, discovering firsthand how wood behaves and responds.

That early curiosity became a lifelong pursuit. Today it shapes the way we approach every commission, from a single floating shelf to a full home of custom cabinetry, with a keen eye and an unwavering commitment to detail.

"For us, it all begins with a keen eye."

Made by Hand, Refined by Precision

Every project moves through our controlled shop environment, where traditional joinery skills are paired with CNC machinery and precision tooling. It is where careful drawings become real, tangible pieces built to an exacting standard.

Our Design Style

We favour natural hardwoods, clean lines and joinery that lets the grain speak for itself. Our work sits comfortably in both heritage homes and contemporary spaces because it is designed around proportion, texture and light rather than passing fashion.

Material First
Solid hardwoods and honest finishes chosen for how they age, not just how they look on day one.
Considered Detail
Reveals, shadow lines and hardware selected so every edge feels intentional.
Tailored Fit
Designed to the millimetre for your space, never adapted from a stock catalogue.
